Welcome to Camp Merrie Woode!! We are so excited that you have shown an interest in our camp! Merrie Woode is an all girls camp located in the mountains of Sapphire, North Carolina. Our goal is to let girls have fun filled summers where they are exposed to the beautiful nature all around us. We offer a wide variety of activities and we have girls of all ages. Campers range from age 7-17 and we have 3 sessions, all different in length. To find out more about which session is right for your daughter, visit our sessions page. To find out more about the activities we offer, visit our activities page. Besides the traditional activities, we also have many trips out of camp where campers get to enjoy the surroundings. Some of the favorites include hikes, white water canoeing and kayaking, rock climbing, and sliding rock. Campers develop a close bond with their cabin mates and begin lasting friendships that they will have for life. Many of our campers love Merrie Woode so much they return summer after summer!
