Merrie Woode offers many different activities, so your camper will never be bored! We are located on Lake Fairfield, so we offer many activities on the lake. Some of the favorites are boating related. We have canoeing, kayaking, and sailing programs where the girls can set and achieve goals. We also offer many swimming classes ranging from water games to workouts. Our mountaineering program is also very popular among the campers. We have a rock climbing wall and we both high and low ropes course. The mountain that overlooks our camp provides a great location for hiking and climbing. We are also very close to many trails and climbs. Our horseback riding program is great for girls of all skill levels. We have many horses and trail rides, along with a covered riding arena. We have a theater program that puts on a great play every summer. Activities with our theater program include acting, tech, costuming, and directing. We also offer many land sports, tennis, and archery class. We have many different types of dance programs ranging from tumbling to jazz. Another popular activity choice is our arts, which include ceramics, knitting, woodworking, stained glass, knitting, and more. No matter what, there will be an activity for your camper!
